What is SkinPen Microneedling?

The Treatment Process

The appointment length time in total is about 1 hour. The patient will come in to the practice with a clean dry face (if able to) and will began topical numbing for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the esthetician will remove all numbing cream and began the treatment. It is relatively painless and the patient may have a few areas that feel like a tickle or vibrating sensation.

After the treatment, the skin will feel and look like a sunburn for the next 24 hours. Redness will turn to pink, and then ultimately fading away. The patient can start to wear makeup if desired after 24 hours.
