Lip Filler in Norman, OK with Heather Franco, APRN

Lip Filler

Fuller lips that still look like yours. Lip filler at Franco Aesthetics uses hyaluronic acid to add volume and shape that fits your face. Patients drive in from across Oklahoma for our lip work — and the most common compliment they hear is “you look great,” not “you got your lips done.”

Anyone can put filler in a lip. The result you see walking around Norman — that’s technique. We build lips in proportion to your features: the right ratio between upper and lower lip, border definition without the “shelf,” volume that moves naturally when you talk and smile.

What to Expect

01 — NUMB

Numbing first

Numbing cream goes on for about 15 minutes, and the filler itself contains lidocaine. ProNox (laughing gas) is available if needles make you tense.

02 — INJECT

The treatment

The injection takes 20–30 minutes; the full appointment runs about 45. You’ll see the shape taking form before you leave.

03 — SETTLE

The real result

Swelling and light bruising are normal for one to two weeks — more pronounced your first time. Your true result shows once swelling settles. Results last 6–12 months.

"First time to get lip filler and Heather was amazing! I would so recommend her and I will definitely be back!"
- Sherri H.
“Shelby is absolutely amazing! I came in super nervous about getting lip filler, but she answered all my questions and walked me through the whole process. I was surprised that I barely felt the procedure. I will definitely be back.”
- Tammy C.
“Oh my gosh, the best lip filler experience I’ve ever had. They’re beautiful, her work is amazing and she actually cares. My lips didn’t even bruise and the first woman at a different place had them looking like I had been in a wreck with little to no difference in appearance. I’ve found my lip filler people!!!! SO good I had to get my best friend an appointment”
-Allison G.

Lip Flip or Lip Filler?

A lip flip uses a few units of Botox or Dysport along the upper lip border to relax the muscle so the lip rolls slightly outward. Subtle, fast, no volume added — a 15-minute appointment. If you want a hint of fullness with low commitment, start here. Learn more on our Botox & Dysport page.

Filler is immediate — you’ll see the new shape before you leave, and the final result settles in over one to two weeks as swelling resolves. A lip flip takes 3–7 days to show as the neurotoxin kicks in.

No two lips get the same plan. Shape, ratio, border, volume — we adjust technique and product placement to your anatomy and your goal, whether that’s a soft refresh or a defined, fuller look.

Filler adds real structure and fullness with hyaluronic acid — visible volume, sharper border definition, balanced proportions. It lasts 6–12 months, and it’s reversible. Plenty of patients start with a flip and graduate to filler when they want more.

Both treatments are needles-only — no surgery, no anesthesia. With filler, plan around a week or two of swelling; with a flip, you go straight back to your day. Either way you’re in and out within the hour.

Lip filler lasts 6–12 months — long enough to live with, never permanent. If your taste changes, it fades on its own or can be dissolved in one quick appointment.

Personalized Consultation

Your appointment begins with a real conversation about your lips — your goals, your anatomy, and what will actually suit your face. We review your medical history, look at your proportions, and design the plan: half syringe or full, flip or filler.

Preparation & Treatment

We cleanse the area and apply topical numbing cream — ProNox is there if you want it. Heather or our clinical team places the filler with a gentle, precise technique: volume, border definition, balance. About 45 minutes start to finish.

Post-Treatment & Healing

Mild swelling, redness, or tenderness is normal and temporary — plan on one to two weeks for everything to settle, with your true result showing after. We send you home with aftercare instructions and a Franco Aesthetics ice pack. Lip filler typically lasts 6–12 months; most patients refresh once a year.

The Franco Aesthetics Experience

Every lip filler appointment at Franco Aesthetics starts with a real conversation — your lips, your proportions, your goal — before any product comes out. Numbing is standard, the appointment runs about 45 minutes, and aftercare is simple: avoid pressure on the treated area for 24 hours, then back to your normal routine.

Many patients pair lip filler with Botox or Dysport in the same visit — filler shapes the lips, neurotoxin softens the lines around them.

FAQ

How long does lip filler last?
6–12 months depending on the product, your metabolism, and how much movement your lips get. Most patients refresh once a year.
Does lip filler hurt?
Numbing cream is standard, and the filler itself contains lidocaine. Most patients rate it easier than expected. ProNox is available as an add-on.
How much does lip filler cost?
Pricing is per syringe, with half-syringe options available. We’ll quote exact pricing at your consult or by text — and VIP members save 15%.
What if I don’t like it?
HA filler is reversible. We can dissolve it with hyaluronidase — one of the reasons we use hyaluronic acid in the lips.
Will my lips look fake?
Not here. Overfilled lips come from too much product placed badly. Our standard is lips people notice without knowing why.
Swelling — what’s normal?
Day 1–3 you’ll look more done than you are. It settles over one to two weeks. First-timers swell most.
