Will fillers make me look fake or “done”?

Not the way we do it. Heather trains every injector here on a conservative-first standard — start with less, see how you settle at the two-week mark, add more only if needed. The goal is the look people compliment without being able to identify why. If you’ve seen overdone filler somewhere, that’s usually too much volume placed too quickly without a follow-up adjustment.

How much does filler cost at Franco Aesthetics?

Does it hurt?

Most patients say it’s tolerable. We use topical numbing on every appointment, and most HA fillers contain lidocaine for built-in numbing as we go. The lips and undereye area are more sensitive than cheeks and jawline. The whole appointment is typically 30–45 minutes; injections themselves take 10–15.

How long do filler results last?

Depends on the area and product: lips and undereyes typically 6–9 months, cheeks 12–18 months, jawline and chin up to 2 years. Sculptra biostimulator results last 18–24+ months because the new collagen your body builds remains structurally even after the Sculptra material dissolves.

When will I see results?

HA fillers — same day. There’s some swelling for 24–48 hours, but the volume is visible immediately. Sculptra — gradual. You’ll start to see improvement at 4 weeks, with full results at 8–12 weeks after your last session.

Are fillers reversible?

HA fillers — yes. We can dissolve them with hyaluronidase if needed. Sculptra — no, it’s not reversible, but the results dissolve naturally over 18–24+ months. The non-reversibility is why we’re conservative with placement and only use Sculptra for patients who’ve been through the consultation process.

What should I avoid before and after my appointment?

Before: avoid blood thinners (Advil, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) for 5–7 days, avoid alcohol the day before. After: no exercise, sauna, or hot yoga for 24 hours; no facials, lasers, or other facial treatments for 2 weeks; sleep on your back the first night to avoid pressure on injection sites. Bruising is possible — arnica gel and avoiding NSAIDs help.
